I actually stopped using it in favor of a simpler solution -- gsh, which is a parallel multi-ssh. To use it, if you are in bash and are logged in as root,

source /root/env/bin/activate

gsh -g all -- date gsh -g web -- date

The groups are defined in /etc/gsh/groups I think, or something like that.

If you want I can bring singularity back though. I just got annoyed at losing the agents and things, so the gsh solution is centralized, requires no pieces, and works OK. (It's what we use at Dropbox and is written by a coworker; github.com/gmjosack/gsh)
