LCA 2015

Also, my tutorial on "Building Services in Go" was accepted. Guess I'll be going to Auckland to present at LCA 2015!

Woo.

Now I'm off to pay rent, get lunch, and go look at motorcycles. I've been thinking about trading mine in (it's paid off and I've had it for 5 years) for a Triumph Scrambler. Pretty bike.

The Triumph is a pretty bike, and I hear the modern ones require much less tinkering ;-)

Do you *really* need to sell it? That's what so great about bikes, you can have more than one. I've only got 6 in the garage right now (3 running, one has sat too long, and 2 are spread across the shop)

Ouch, $100/month for a bike? What's a car cost? I just assumed that you had a parking spot so you could wedge in as many bikes as would fit.

The insurance on the bike will be less than the parking it seems. I pay a pittance a year for each of my bikes. The R50 costs less to insure than what I feed it gas per year.
